Acquisition Pool Conception

A long time ago, Willy Naessens' story began, among other things, with building swimming pools, and the Willy Naessens Group still considers swimming pool construction one of its core activities. Over the years, this division has built up an excellent reputation, becoming by far the largest builder of structural pools in Belgium. Willy Naessens Swimming Pools has therefore grown considerably in turnover in recent years, and so far has three branches, each with its own shop and collection point: Schoten, Overijse, and Oudenaarde, where the brand-new headquarters was inaugurated last year. With the establishment of Zwembad.be, the webshop train was not missed either.

Always on the lookout for further growth and market expansion in the swimming pool world, Willy Naessens Swimming Pools recently concluded an acquisition agreement with the company Pool Conception. This company is based in Tournai and, in addition to building private swimming pools, is mainly specialised in the sale, installation and maintenance of the technical installations in public swimming pools in the Walloon part of the country. This acquisition means that Willy Naessens Swimming Pools also wants to play a role in the world of public swimming pools: the expertise of Pool Conception will therefore be used to enter this market in Flanders. Pool Conception has 12 staff members and will continue to operate at its current location and under its own name under the direction of the existing management.
